Budapest

Wow, Budapest was full of experiences, I could reminisce for hours. We stayed at Harkányi’s while we were at Budapest. It was a great experience meeting them. We arrived to them exactly while their garden party, which was organized for Árpesz, because of his birthday. Árpesz reached North Cape by bicycle in 100 days, touching Paris. They welcomed us with loving-kindness. Árpesz took us the next day for a city tour by bike: Square of heroes, then up to János hill, Gellert hill and back home. It was 60km of cycling. Dear readers, riding a bike in Budapest as a tourist was a real experience. Tuesday early morning Kinga and Ida arrived. We decided to spend our day separately.


Ida and me decided to make a city tour by bike. We visited the Square of heroes, the Városliget, the Parliament, the Isle of Margit, the János hill. We saw a beautiful sunset, a big storm and a rainbow after it, Budapest by night. Riding by bike in Budapest with the belowed person was one of my most beautiful experiences in life. I am greatfull for this opportunity.


Előd and Kinga didn’t choose the bicycle, but they also had great experiences, including the storm. They met old friends, and I believe meeting them felt good for both sides. Előd decided to have a haircut and so it happened.


What bad happened in Budapest: I fell from bicycle on Andrásy street and hurt my knee quite badly, and after about 5 minutes I had a breakdown. Előd had also a sore ankle.


Wednesday evening we sad the girls goodby, and got lots of usefull information from Árpesz for the road. Thursday morning: on the road again…
