Beyond the dreams...

    Through out Europe cycling has a big popularity, but in the Balkan countries, such as Romania, the lack of the cycling tracks and restrainance of the cycle culture created in the people's and authorities' imagination the idea that only poor people cycle. With our rally we would like to popularize the healthy lifestyle, the cycling and to make an appeal to the need of the cycling roads in our hometown, Tirgu-Mures, and also in Romania. We would like to help others to fight their misbelieves, that the Romanians from Transylvania would realize that not only with motorized vehicles, but with an alternative transportation vehicle can the World, Europe be conquered.

We believe that through our rally we can create direct relations from people to people, from soul to soul, get to know European cultures that we know of -despite European Union fellowship - very little. You can't get to know the human being, the people, the fellowship, the culture so deep, straight, from books, internet, by ear, than face to face, at the warmth of somebody's home, at a cup of water, tea, beer, brandy, soup, vegetable dish or other traditional food or drink.

We have two goals with our project, conception. First, with our European experience we would like to present to the people form Tirgu-Mures the possibility of cycle tracks and infrastructure. Second, we would like to know more about the folks, communities that live nearby.

To achieve our goal we would ask for your help and support - although the two if us are going through the 31.000 kilometers - so that this trip would really prove the bond of the people from Tirgu Mures.
